We are one day away from an epic show with Tetchy, doug. and Sunbleach. Tetchy is a band that we have been listening to since the pandemic, they are just starting to tour regionally and we are lucky to have them stopping in Littleton on Saturday 8/31! They are playing with doug. who has rocked the dock in the past but its been a while, we can’t wait to hear what they sound like now. Check out this full set video from last summer. Sunbleach is an up and coming Littleton band that has been rehearsing at The Loading Dock for the past month, they are ready to start off the show tomorrow. Get tickets here, you can also show up at the door. Students and seniors $5.
September is looking good, we continue our long running Stand Up Comedy Open Mic at the beginning of the month and bring back the Under 21 Open Mic at the end. What? Horn led dance party was a huge hit last year, if you like your funk and soul and deep horns, this is your night! Jazz-trained, indie-rock duo Deerlady (singer and bassist Mali Obomsawin and guitarist and singer Magdalena Abrego) deliver shoegaze-leaning songs. We say this all the time… this is a show you won’t want to miss, get tickets. Heavy music fans rejoice, we got a four band line up that will chew you up and spit you out. We like salty and we like sweet so the next week we welcome back our favorite Ashley Warwick in her bombshell jazz torch singer persona. The last time this group played we sold out, get tickets early if you know you want to go! We end off the month with Under 21 Open Mic where we welcome the youth of the North Country to perform on our stage, this is a chem free event.
Welcome to our Newest sponsor: Thayer’s Inn!
Special shoutout to Thayer’s Inn for becoming our most recent yearly sponsor! For the past four years musicians have been staying at Thayer’s and playing in Littleton. For many it is a welcome break to have such nice and comfy accommodations. Thayer’s is a great partner for bringing the Arts up to the North Country and we are psyched to have their support!
