All at once soulful and rocking, CATWOLF is an all-woman power trio from the wilds of northern NH. They create a unique collective sound full of groove and heaps of vocal harmonies. Salty and sweet, heavy flair celebrating full emotions and shared experiences.

Cat Wolf is lead singer-songwriter and guitarist, Moselle Spiller plays the drums and Moa Hedegaard lays down the bass. There is plenty of room in and around these songs to imagine how much better they would be in a live setting with a good room and people. You can read about the history of each person in this band, we lived it. CATWOLF played one of their earliest shows at The Loading Dock. We’ve checked in every year and let it be known that this band is on a major upward trajectory. It is a beautiful thing to experience the growth of a collective of musicians that came together out of the love of music. Their songs are sweet, with a nod to an earlier era in their hummability, always with an insistent beat chugging it along. As evidence, check out this video for the most recent album opener, Big Bowl of Sunshine. This tune encapsulates what it is to be CATWOLF; raw emotions and honest connection with the human experience.

The core of CATWOLF is the beat. Drums play an outsized role in the musicality of the band. The individual members melt away into one CATWOLF like the best of all bands. The new song, Beast Charmer, takes the band into new sonic territory like it was made to happen. Still with stripped down guitars and vocals, a more roiling rhythm and dynamic instrumentation. We had the pleasure of hearing this tune recorded and then live within a short span of time. North Country Pride hosted CATWOLF at Rek-lis Brewing for their Pride Ride After Party. CATWOLF closed their set with Beast Charmer, it was the perfect cap to a rocking outdoor set. Downtown Bethlehem didn’t know what they were in for.

CATWOLF is coming out of hibernation, catch them live if you can, they will move you to dance!
