What? You want me to create a blog post? What? I have to pick my favorite Loading Dock show for December. ...What? is my pick for this task. Thats right! The band is called WHAT? This show left me thinking, "WHAT the heck just happened!"

The Loading Dock had its usual vibe of anticipation from its patrons on that Friday night. The stage was set for something big. There were so many instruments set up. This band must have a lot of people in it, is what I was thinking, and then the musicians came out. A sextet, from the Hudson Valley of New York, was on stage. The horns were checking their sounds, guitars were being tested for last-minute tuning and the drummer was looking ready to play, behind his kit. Then they started to play. Right from the first note of their first song called Stack of Flapjacks, the crowd was flipping for this band, swaying to their infectious grooves. Immediately, I knew it was going to be a good night of music.

There were many familiar faces in the crowd and my friends, and I just kept looking at each other in amazement and approval at WHAT we were hearing. This band was high energy and kept the dance going until late at night. The saxophone, trombone, bass guitar, and two guitarists, along with the drummer made everyone happy with their rock, jazz, hip-hop, and pop music selections. We heard covers along with many originals by the band. The crowd showed their love for this band with many shouts of glee.

The band's newest album released in 2022, called Lavender Lounge can be heard on most streaming services. I highly recommend you check this band out. Heres hoping this group will come back to Littleton, NH in the very near future.
